A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wilkins's choice of entrance music: Sans Pression- Numero 1. Jay Wilkins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leo McGarry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jay Wilkins! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wilkins tries a head kick but it misses.
Wilkins throws a sloppy body shot
and McGarry counters with a single leg into guard. Wilkins didn't expect that. McGarry working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wilkins tries to land a sweep but no joy. McGarry working some strikes from top position. Wilkins is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! McGarry lands a couple of elbows. Wilkins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. McGarry trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. McGarry stopping the sweep attempt from Wilkins. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wilkins looking to control.
McGarry in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McGarry postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Wilkins looking for a guillotine here but McGarry defends easily.
Wilkins looking to sweep here. No luck so far. McGarry trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGarry postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. McGarry connects with a couple of short punches. Wilkins is looking for a triangle but McGarry pushes his legs off easily.
Wilkins tries to land a sweep but no joy. McGarry cracks Wilkins with a solid left hand. Wilkins wants to sweep but no luck. McGarry trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McGarry postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. McGarry postures up in Wilkins's guard and throws a big left but Wilkins blocks it. McGarry postures up and lands a big shot to Wilkins's brow. McGarry has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. McGarry with a nice head shot there. McGarry working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGarry working some strikes from top position. Wilkins has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think McGarry should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Wilkins has tightened it up now! McGarry should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
