Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Handsome Cpw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cpw kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Steve McQueen. Robertson has chosen The Proclaimers - 500 Miles as his entrance music. Trevor Robertson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cpw swings for the body but Robertson moves out of range.
Robertson avoids the body shot from Cpw.
Robertson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Robertson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cpw gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Robertson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cpw looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Cpw throws a lazy right hand but Robertson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cpw is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cpw wants to stand and escape but Robertson is having none of it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Robertson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Cpw lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The fighters circle momentarily. Cpw darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
