Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Darwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darwin tries to bum rush Hopkins with a series of wild strikes but Hopkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hopkins misses the shot to the body.
Hopkins takes a swing at Darwin's ribcage but misses.
Darwin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hopkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Darwin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Darwin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Darwin has control of Hopkins's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hopkins regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Darwin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hopkins turns into him and now he's in Darwin's guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Malcolm Hopkins hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Darwin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hopkins circles away quickly and effectively.

Darwin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Darwin lands a really nice looking cross but Hopkins seems unphased.

Darwin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hopkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hopkins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Darwin's guard.
