Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Van Maul. Those never looked like landing.
Cara has his takedown stuffed
and Van Maul counters with a nice leg kick.
Cara tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cara fails with the takedown
and Van Maul counters with a low kick, right behind Cara 's knee.
Cara shoots and misses
and Van Maul counters with a leg kick.
Luuk Van Maul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Punk Cara.
Van Maul throws a nice looking combination but Cara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cara on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Cara fails with the takedown
and Van Maul counters with an outside leg kick.
Cara looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Van Maul scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Cara darts in trying to clinch
and Van Maul counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cara's knee momentarily.
Van Maul swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Van Maul. Cara shrugs it off though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cara takes a kick to the side of the head.
Van Maul fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cara.
Van Maul fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Van Maul misses with a two punch combination.
Whack! Van Maul lands a heavy head kick that drops Cara. The ref tackles Van Maul to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Cara was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Luuk Van Maul!
