Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdoul Murquite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murquite comes to the cage accompanied by Não Posso Mais. Nogueira has chosen Calm Like a Bomb as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Nogueira was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murquite drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nogueira dips to his left and cracks Murquite with an uppercut!

Murquite displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nogueira throws out the jab.

Nogueira paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Murquite drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Nogueira throws an overhand right that lands on Murquite's shoulder, as Murquite tries to avoid the shot.

Nogueira tries to sprawl but Murquite drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Nogueira is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Murquite pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murquite looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nogueira with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
