Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hiro Nakamura!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura thows a body shot but no joy.
Wukong pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nakamura looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nakamura scores with a jab to the jaw.
Wukong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nakamura throws out the jab.
Wukong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nakamura was well out of range. Poor timing from Wukong.
Wukong throws a body kick that misses.
Nakamura moves out of range of the body kick from Wukong.
A big right from Nakamura misses.
Nakamura on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nakamura.
Wukong closes the distance and clinches.
Wukong lands a hook that snaps the head of Nakamura backwards.

Wukong tries to work over Nakamura's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Wukong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nakamura swings for the body but Wukong moves out of range.
Wukong doesn't manage to clinch there - Nakamura circles away.
Wukong takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Wukong blocks a low kick nicely.
Nakamura chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wukong can pounce on him.
Nakamura pushes Wukong up against the cage in a clinch.
Nakamura lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Nakamura lands a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wukong lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Nice body punch from Wukong.
Nakamura lands a left hand.
Wukong is rocked!
Nakamura with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Oh Wukong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nakamura creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Wukong with a big uppercut! Wukong tries to clinch up but Nakamura pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Wukong to the mat! Wukong covers up and Nakamura unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hiro Nakamura! Hiro Nakamura retains his light heavyweight title!
