Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donzel Fortunado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ruanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fortunado might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bob Dylan-Knockin' on Heaven's Door . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruanti keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fortunado keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ruanti.
Ruanti fails with a takedown attempt.
Fortunado fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ruanti manages to avoid it.
That kick from Fortunado tenderised Ruanti's leg. Ruanti is trying to keep his angry face on.

Ruanti feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fortunado rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ruanti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fortunado lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ruanti circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Donzel Fortunado has been cut.
Ruanti lands a really nice looking cross but Fortunado seems unphased.
Ruanti fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fortunado has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ruanti feints and as Fortunado raises his hands in defense, Ruanti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ruanti stays in close to Fortunado's body and controls the position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Ruanti throws a series of punches but Fortunado moves out of range.

Ruanti shoots in looking for a takedown. Fortunado tries to sprawl out of it but Ruanti keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fortunado manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ruanti lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fortunado tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ruanti was well out of range. Poor timing from Fortunado.

Ruanti closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ruanti throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Well Ruanti has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
