1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Hughes! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Capoeira blocks a head kick by Hughes.
Hughes throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Chris Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Capoeira tries to clinch but Hughes moves out of range. Hughes misses with a head kick.
Hughes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Capoeira tries to clinch up. Capoeira gets a clinch. Hughes tries to circle away but Capoeira has him pinned against the cage. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Hughes has eaten all the pies! Capoeira trying to land knees to the body.

Hughes is trying to push Capoeira away but Capoeira has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Hughes jumps guard but Capoeira stands there with Hughes around his waist. Hughes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Capoeira has Hughes pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Hughes is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Capoeira - that's hurt Hughes badly! Oh, another knee lands and Hughes is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Hughes doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Rafinha Capoeira! A pretty intense looking Rafinha Capoeira took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
