Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Esteban Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Stglitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Esteban Delgado! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Hugo Stglitz! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delgado takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Stglitz throws a body kick that misses. Stglitz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Some bone on bone action there as Delgado checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Delgado looks for a takedown but Stglitz sprawls well. Delgado shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stglitz defends it nicely. Delgado takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hugo Stglitz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A low kick from Stglitz is predictable there and Delgado counters with a nice double leg into guard. Delgado postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Delgado stands up over Stglitz, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Delgado pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stglitz is keeping the position for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stglitz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Delgado is one step ahead there. Stglitz keeping full guard, as Delgado tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delgado trying to control the position from guard on top but Stglitz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stglitz working a defensive guard here.
Stglitz wants to sweep but no luck. Stglitz working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Delgado. Stglitz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Stglitz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delgado is looking to advance position but Stglitz has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Delgado might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Stglitz is landing with some decent strikes but Delgado is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Delgado can't escape the position.
Stglitz throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Delgado is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Stglitz lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Delgado sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stglitz throwing shots but Delgado is blocking nicely. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Stglitz is trying to control. Delgado wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stglitz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stglitz not landing any meaningful shots this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stglitz lands a nice short elbow. Stglitz lands with a punch from half guard. Stglitz thows a huge punch but Delgado dodges it nicely.
Stglitz throws a strike but Delgado avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Stglitz stopping the sweep attempt from Delgado. Stglitz trying to control the position from guard on top but Delgado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Delgado controls Stglitz momentarily but Stglitz frees himself. Delgado looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stglitz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Stglitz trying to control the position from guard on top but Delgado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Delgado seems keen to control Stglitz's posture.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Stglitz - that will leave a mark!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stglitz scores with a kick to the midsection. Delgado manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stglitz on his heels. He'll look to pass Stglitz's guard now, I'm sure. Delgado seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stglitz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Delgado is aware though and is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hugo Stglitz will probably get the nod. That's time! Delgado's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Delgado looking for a takedown here - he's got it. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stglitz holds on and takes a little breather. Delgado won't allow Stglitz to sweep him here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Delgado accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Delgado missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Delgado throwing strikes but missing. Stglitz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Stglitz trying to keep a closed guard but Delgado is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delgado wants to pass the guard but Stglitz is keeping the position. Delgado's corner is telling him to maintain position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Delgado shoots in for a double leg but Stglitz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stglitz throws a hook but Delgado avoids it easily. Stglitz throws a series of punches but Delgado avoids them all with ease. Delgado bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Delgado dives in and grabs Stglitz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stglitz pushes down on Delgado's head and hops out. Stglitz thows a body shot but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donk. Stglitz catches Delgado right on the button with a cross. Delgado fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Esteban Delgado. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stglitz scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Stglitz connects with a body shot. A low kick from Stglitz is predictable there and Delgado counters with a nice double leg into side control. Stglitz won't be happy with that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Delgado working away. Delgado in side control, just content to control the action for now. Stglitz struggling a bit here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stglitz lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A lazy body kick from Stglitz and Delgado counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Delgado seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Stglitz is pressing down on Delgado's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Stglitz throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Delgado stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stglitz swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Esteban Delgado dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Delgado shoots in and gets a takedown into Stglitz's guard. Stglitz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stglitz trying to control the position.
Stglitz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Delgado controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Delgado tries to free his leg and advance position but Stglitz is retaining full guard. Delgado controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stglitz throws a nice outside leg kick. Delgado avoids a kick to the body.
Stglitz is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stglitz takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stglitz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Delgado. Delgado lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Delgado misses the shot to the body. Delgado fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stglitz manages to avoid it. Stglitz leaves Delgado with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stglitz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Delgado's waist but Delgado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stglitz off to one side. Delgado fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stglitz. Delgado misses with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Delgado. Delgado drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stglitz tries to get back to half guard but can't. Esteban Delgado overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stglitz wants to control but Delgado postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delgado in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Delgado tries to score with some ground and pound. Stglitz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stglitz tries to buck Delgado off but Delgado is having none of it. You can see the frustration on Stglitz's face as Delgado controls the position. Stglitz wants to control but Delgado postures up. Delgado wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stglitz keeps working. Stglitz is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delgado looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Stglitz is avoiding damage well.
Delgado lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Delgado landing strikes. Delgado working away. Delgado tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Delgado is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stglitz will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Delgado tries to move to mount but Stglitz blocks the move with his legs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
