Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrion Lannister!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bogey James!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
James throwing shots but Lannister is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James looks to land a strike but Lannister avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
James throwing strikes but missing.

James drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lannister looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lannister looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lannister!
James is trying to improve his position.
Lannister landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
James is looking to regain half guard here but Lannister keeps moving and retains side control.
Lannister throws an elbow but James slips to the side and avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lannister postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
James takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
James on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Sloppy strikes there by Lannister.
Lannister lands a decent elbow from side control.
James regains half guard, as Lannister was trying to land strikes.
Lannister tries to pass the half guard into mount. James knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
James has hold of Lannister's hands but Lannister slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Lannister winds up and cracks James with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Lannister scoring with strikes to the body and head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lannister is pressing down on James's thigh, looking to free his foot. James is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
James flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Lannister scoring with strikes to the body and head.
James trying to control from the bottom.
Lannister has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lannister wants to control but James is keeping him busy.
Lannister prevents James from standing back up.

Lannister is trying for a kimura here. James looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Lannister wins by kimura!
