The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyazawa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mazursky tries to avoid it but Miyazawa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mazursky to the ground. Mazursky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kiryu Miyazawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mazursky lands with an uppercut that bounces Miyazawa off the cage and back into range.
Mazursky lands a nice shot that snaps Miyazawa's head back.
Mazursky keeps the fight on the outside.
Mazursky darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Miyazawa gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mazursky can do anything to dispel that myth.
