Vbahi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pregador Luo - Bate Pesadão. Pinheiro has chosen Let's Go - Calvin Harris and Ne-Yo as his entrance music. Matheus Pinheiro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vbahi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pinheiro's waist but Pinheiro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vbahi off to one side.

Pinheiro has Vbahi up against the cage in a clinch.

Vbahi breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pinheiro closes the distance and clinches.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pinheiro.
Pinheiro gets underhooks to prevent Vbahi's takedown attempt.

Vbahi pulls Pinheiro into guard.
Vbahi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vbahi tries to get out of the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pinheiro passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Pinheiro uses his free foot to push down on Vbahi's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vbahi.
Vbahi is in a horrible position here. Pinheiro smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
