Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riber Funkyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas moves in looking to clinch but Funkyama pushes him off.
Funkyama goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Funkyama stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Funkyama wants it to stay on the feet.
Lucas closes the distance and clinches up with Funkyama, looking for a takedown. Lucas pushes Funkyama against the cage but Funkyama circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Funkyama turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Funkyama throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lucas fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matheus Lucas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Funkyama misses with a head kick.
Lucas wants to clinch
and Funkyama counters with a head kick.
Funkyama goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Lucas is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Funkyama connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Lucas out cold! This one is over in a flash!
