Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimon Boets (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimi Kubica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boets comes to the cage accompanied by Штиль. Kimi Kubica has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dimon Boets! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kimi Kubica! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boets takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Boets has Kubica up against the cage in a clinch.
Kubica misses with a punch to the body.
Boets drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kubica gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Boets has clasped his hands together around Kubica's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Kubica is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Boets is controlling him well. Boets misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Kubica takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boets working the head and body with strikes. Kubica is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Boets asserts his dominance and retains side control. Kubica is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Boets tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boets working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Boets sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kubica is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Kubica is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Boets thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Kubica wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The strikes coming from Boets are missing the target in this wave of attacks. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kubica can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Boets seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Kubica pushes Boets away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Boets gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Boets in side control, throwing shots but Kubica defends. Kubica tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Boets has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boets loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Kubica hold on?
It looks like Kimi Kubica has been cut. Boets lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boets lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Boets.
Boets scores with punches and elbows. Boets missing with strikes from the back. Kubica manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Boets is now in side control. Boets misses with the ground and pound. Boets has knee on belly and moves into mount. Boets landing strikes from the mount.
The cut above Kimi Kubica's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kimi Kubica's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dimon Boets! After winning the bout, Dimon Boets thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
