Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Shileds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Query (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shileds comes to the cage accompanied by Remeber the Name. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shileds tries for a takedown but Query sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Shileds gets caught napping as Query dives in and scores a takedown. Shileds manages to retain guard.
Query throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Shileds is working an open guard so Query takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nate Query seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Query shoots in and bounces Shileds off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Query postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Query is looking to work some ground and pound but Shileds has wrist control.

Query goes for an armbar but Shileds turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Shileds.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Query lands a big uppercut and Shileds crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shileds looks OK. Query waves Shileds back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Query moves into full mount! Shileds won't be happy about that!

Query gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Shileds fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Query throws a good cross that connects.
Shileds closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Query sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Query slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Query is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Query is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shileds defends it well.

Query stands up and beckons Shileds to join him on the feet.

Query lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shileds circles away quickly and effectively.
Query throws a head kick that Shileds semi-blocks.
Query fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Query gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Query has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Shileds is trying to keep an underhook but Query manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Shileds is not content to let Query control the position.
Query is trying to work for a kimura but Shileds is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nate Query showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Query breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Query defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shileds.
Shileds closes this distance looking for a takedown but Query circles away.
Shileds takes one on the button.
It looks like Jack Shileds has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Query moves into the clinch.
Query's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Query has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Shileds fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Query, pushing him back against the cage.
Shileds tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Query smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Shileds. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Shileds tries to sprawl but Query drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Query thows a huge punch but Shileds dodges it nicely.
Query stands up out of the half guard.
Shileds throws a head kick but Query moves out of range.
Query looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Query backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Shileds's temple! It sends Shileds violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Query celebrates and the doctors try to help Shileds!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Nate Query!
