Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Faustine Rod Dael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Canas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Faustine Rod Dael! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joseph Canas! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dael's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Canas connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dael scrambles back to his feet. Canas throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Canas misses with the combination.
Canas throws a right and a left that Dael avoids nicely. Canas swinging wildly here.
Dael dives in and scores a takedown into Canas's guard. Canas looking for subs off his back but Dael has passed one foot through into half guard.
Canas tries to roll over but Dael keeps him under control. Dael wants to pass the guard but Canas is defending well. Dael slows the pace down in half guard. Dael looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Canas tries to roll over but Dael keeps him under control. Canas has hold of Dael's hands but Dael slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Dael content to control rather than advance. Canas wants to improve his position but Dael is controlling well.
Dael not landing any meaningful shots this time. Dael perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Canas actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Canas wants to improve his position but Dael is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Canas gets full guard. Canas had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dael defends it easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dael avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dael controls from within his opponent's guard. Dael working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dael stands and throws Canas's legs to the side, diving into side control. Canas looking for a sweep but Dael has passed into full mount! Oh no! Dael looking to finish Canas with some ground and pound. This is bad for Canas! Dael fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dael with a couple of short strikes. Dael working Canas over with strikes here. Dael lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Dael scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Canas?
Canas is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Dael softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Canas is out cold! Dael jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
