The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Page was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sosinski is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Page pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Page shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Page lands a jab-cross combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sosinski swings widly with a right hand
so Page counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Page looks gassed!
Sosinski controls Page momentarily but Page frees himself.
Sosinski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Page gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sosinski tried to score with a low kick but Page checks it.

Page takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Sosinski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sosinski tries to get out of the position.
Page has hold of Sosinski's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Sosinski tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Page cranks the arm and Sosinski screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Sosinski, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
