Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Rodey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodey's entrance music is Ice Ice Baby. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Rodey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Conor Lynch! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rodey. Rodey gets a clinch. Lynch can't find room to land a body shot as Rodey controls the action.
Lynch throws an elbow but it misses.
Lynch is looking to break free of the clinch but Rodey has double underhooks. Rodey landing knees to the head.
A bit of stalling here from Rodey.
Lynch tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Rodey looking to throw knees to the head but Lynch is blocking nicely.
Lynch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rodey smiles and moves away.
Lynch tries to clinch but Rodey moves away and Rodey counters with an inside leg kick. Lynch bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rodey throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Nice defenses there by Lynch. Lynch misses with a takedown attempt and Rodey makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Lynch looks gassed! This has been an exciting period of action! Lynch ducks straight into an uppercut from Rodey and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Lynch maanges to regain guard straight away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rodey passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lynch is still in real trouble! Can Rodey finish him? Lynch is trying to improve his position. Lynch seems to have recovered his senses. Rodey wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lynch, who protects the arm well. Rodey gets to mount! Lynch was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Lynch trying desperately to get to his feet.
Rodey looking to control and managing it successfully. Rodey looking to finish Lynch with some ground and pound. This is bad for Lynch!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodey trying to control but he's not successful this time. Rodey throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Rodey is working for a guillotine from mount but Lynch frees his head quite easily.
Rodey unloads with some shots from mount but Lynch bucks and avoids them well.
Rodey tries to control but Lynch wriggling away. Lynch is looking to improve his position but Rodey isn't that keen on the idea.

The referee is taking a good look at Lynch as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Rodey!
Lynch trying to get back to his feet but Rodey is in full control for now. Rodey thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Lynch is in bad spot here.
Lynch covering up well under a series of strikes from Rodey. Lynch tries to escape but Rodey has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rodey controls the action. Rodey is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Lynch has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rodey patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Lynch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rodey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lynch is keeping busy.
Rodey is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Sean Rodey dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lynch on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rodey. Rodey obviously looking to wear him down.
Lynch gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rodey cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Conor Lynch is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lynch lands with a straight right. Rodey didn't see that one coming. Lynch ducks under a wild hook from Rodey. Rodey throws the left hand but Lynch avoids the punch easily. Rodey misses with a hook. Lynch ducked under it nicely. Rodey throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lynch is breathing heavily. Rodey misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodey throws a jab but it's blocked by Lynch. Nice defenses there by Lynch. A big right from Rodey misses. Rodey circles away from the clinch attempt and Rodey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Rodey misses with a hook. Lynch shoots and misses and Rodey counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rodey throws an uppercut from hell that sends Lynch clean off his feet! He's out cold! Rodey stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
