Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yakult Hanson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lyle Willems!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Willems does it's job there.
Willems fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hanson, pushing him back against the cage.
Willems lands with a left to the head.
Hanson is rocked!
Willems dips a shoulder and cracks Hanson with a mighty uppercut! Hanson falls back against the cage and Willems unloads with a barrage of strikes! Hanson is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Willems screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lyle Willems!
Lyle Willems bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
