Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Godcheck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brownie Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godcheck comes into the arena with Higher Ground by The Red Hot Chili Peppers blaring out of the sound system. Jenkins has chosen TNT as his entrance music. Josh Godcheck had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Josh Godcheck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brownie Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Godcheck is just out of range.
Jenkins misses with a combination
and Godcheck counters with a body kick.
Jenkins moves in looking to clinch but Godcheck pushes him off.
Godcheck is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jenkins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jenkins falls off balance throwing a combination

and Godcheck counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jenkins's guard now.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Godcheck is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Godcheck drops back looking for a leg! Jenkins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jenkins manages to kick Godcheck off! Godcheck jumps back into Jenkins's guard.
Godcheck wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is keeping the position.
Godcheck won't allow Jenkins to get back to his feet.

Godcheck drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Godcheck jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Godcheck thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jenkins wants to stand but Godcheck is controlling the position.

Godcheck drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Godcheck as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jenkins screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Godcheck! Nice submission victory there!

A relieved looking Josh Godcheck thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
