Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kirk Blisner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mort Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blisner's entrance music is Garth Brooks- Friends in Low Places. A fine choice. Goldman has chosen Thunder Kiss 65 as his entrance music. Mort Goldman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kirk Blisner's chin.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldman lands with an uppercut that bounces Blisner off the cage and back into rage.
Blisner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Blisner, right into the meat.
Goldman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Blisner throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blisner lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Goldman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blisner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round but I would say that Kirk Blisner will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Blisner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goldman's waist but Goldman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blisner off to one side.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Goldman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Goldman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Goldman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
