Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Grouch!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wisniewski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Grouch avoids it really well and circles away.
Wisniewski wants to clinch but Grouch slips to the side

and Grouch counters with a crisp one two that drops Wisniewski! Grouch thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Wisniewski to his feet! Wisniewski is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grouch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wisniewski moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oh Wisniewski is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grouch throws a right and a left that both miss.
Grouch throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wisniewski.
Wisniewski seems to have got his legs back now.

Grouch lands a big right hand that sends Wisniewski crashing to the mat! Grouch stays standing though and waves Wisniewski back to his feet!
Wisniewski fails with the takedown.
Grouch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wisniewski circles away quickly and effectively.
Wisniewski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Janek Wisniewski. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wisniewski shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Grouch sprawls well. Grouch wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wisniewski gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wisniewski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Wisniewski wants to work for an arm triangle but Grouch is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wisniewski is breathing heavily.
Grouch keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Wisniewski wants to take a breather but Grouch is having none of it.

Wisniewski seems to be working for a kimura but Grouch defends the submission attempt.
Wisniewski prevents Grouch from standing back up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wisniewski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Grouch does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oscar Grouch dominated that round.
That's time! Wisniewski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Wisniewski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wisniewski tries for a takedown but Grouch sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and Grouch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Grouch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wisniewski circles away quickly and effectively.
Grouch ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wisniewski takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Janek Wisniewski has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grouch sizes up Wisniewski with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Grouch misses with a few strikes there.
Grouch connects with a right that clearly hurt Wisniewski. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Grouch proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Wisniewski collapses and taps out under the pressure!
