Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyshenko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thomas sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kyshenko scores with a head kick. Thomas tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kyshenko scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Thomas fails with the takedown.

Kyshenko lands a big head kick that sends Thomas tumbling to the mat! Kyshenko takes a step backwards and waves Thomas back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Thomas is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kyshenko as he jumps to the side.

Thomas feints and as Kyshenko raises his hands in defense, Thomas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kyshenko wants to stand but Thomas is controlling the position.

Thomas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thomas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Thomas advances to half guard.

Thomas seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thomas is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Thomas landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Thomas prevents Kyshenko from standing back up.

Thomas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kyshenko is just riding it out for now. Thomas eventually gives up the hold.

Thomas passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Kyshenko!

Thomas goes for an armbar but Kyshenko turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kyshenko.

Thomas is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kyshenko has his hands clasped together but Thomas extends an breaks Kyshenko's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Thomas.

Paul Thomas decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
