The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves swinging wilding here.
Fillipovitch scoring well with a low kick there.
Fillipovitch swats away the attempt to clinch by Alves.
Alves is looking to clinch but Fillipovitch is avoiding it.
Alves doesn't manage to clinch there - Fillipovitch circles away.
Fillipovitch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alves on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Alves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alves darts in and clinches Fillipovitch up against the cage.

Fillipovitch connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Alves! He's out on his feet! Fillipovitch rushes in and drops Alves with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
