PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vecheslav Gurin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eliah Marshal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gurin comes to the cage accompanied by Dolphin - I Will Live. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vecheslav Gurin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eliah Marshal!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Gurin. Marshal does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gurin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Marshal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gurin moves away.
Gurin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Gurin cracks Marshal with an open hand slap.
Marshal uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gurin.
Gurin swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Marshal counters with a series of strikes. Gurin will be more careful next time no doubt.

Marshal rushes Gurin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gurin tries to pull guard but Marshal holds him up against the cage and eventually Gurin drops back down to his feet.

Oh Gurin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Marshal lands a good knee to the midsection. Gurin won't want to take too many of those.
Gurin seems to have got his legs back now.
Marshal is struggling to control the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Still in the clinch, Marshal scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gurin takes an elbow to the forehead.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eliah Marshal dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Gurin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marshal walks away with a smile on his face. Gurin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Vecheslav Gurin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marshal lands a nice hook to Gurin's body. Gurin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gurin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Gurin gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Marshal gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Gurin is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eliah Marshal!
