Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marcus Shin!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Piri counters with a nice body shot.

Piri throws a hook to the side of Shin's head but Shin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Shin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Piri is trying to defend but Shin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Piri lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Shin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Piri.

It looks like Marcus Shin has been cut.

Jiri Piri is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Piri steps in with a hook that catches Shin right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Piri follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Shin looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jiri Piri!
