Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Refn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teller is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: God's Gonna Cut You Down by Johnny Cash. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Teller!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Refn.
Teller slaps away a takedown attempt from Refn, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Teller connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Refn clinches up with Teller and pushes him back against the cage.
Refn is pushing Teller up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Teller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Refn shoots and misses
and Teller counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Refn avoids the body shot from Teller.
Teller with a jab.
Refn tries to move into range but Teller moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Teller stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicolas Refn. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Refn clinches.
Teller swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Teller looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Teller is trying to break the clinch but Refn has him pressed against the cage.
Teller stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Refn takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Refn is trying to break the clinch but Teller is controlling him.

Refn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Teller connects with a good right hand that stumbles Refn. Refn circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Teller gets caught napping as Refn dives in and scores a takedown. Teller manages to retain guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Refn stops Teller from standing up.
Teller tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Refn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Teller looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Refn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Refn scoring with punches to the head and body.
Refnis looking to pass into half guard but Teller pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Teller is in guard.
Refn wants to sweep here but Teller controlling him for the moment.
Refn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Teller controls the pace.
Teller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Refn wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Teller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Refn tries for a takedown but Teller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Teller connects with the punch.
Teller digs a good hook to Refn's body.
Refn shoots in for a takedown but Teller shows good takedown defense.
Refn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Teller manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A punch lands to the side of Teller 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Refn shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Teller sprawls well. Teller wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Refn gets slowly back to his feet.
Teller scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nicolas Refn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Refn has a takedown stuffed.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Teller misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Refn.
Refn wants to clinch.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Refn dives in and grabs Teller's left leg, looking for a takedown. Teller pushes down on Refn's head and hops out.
Teller scores with the left hand. Refn knows he should have avoided that one.
Teller lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Refn is rocked!
Teller misses with a wild combination.
Refn fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Teller throws a right and a left that Refn avoids nicely.
Teller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Teller throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oh Refn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
