Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Geek Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nemanja Tancev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geek Fighter comes to the cage accompanied by One More Saturday Night. Mark Geek Fighter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Geek Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nemanja Tancev!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geek Fighter throws out a powerful jab.
Tancev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Geek Fighter circles away.
Geek Fighter throws a combination. Tancev tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Geek Fighter wants to clinch up but Tancev keeps it at a distance.
Geek Fighter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tancev eats them both and turns towards Geek Fighter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Nemanja Tancev has been cut.
Tancev fails with the takedown
and Geek Fighter counters with a one-two to the body.
Tancev slips a jab and a cross from Geek Fighter.
Tancev tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Geek Fighter swivels and escapes.
Mark Geek Fighter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nemanja Tancev.

Geek Fighter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Geek Fighter leaves Tancev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Tancev sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Tancev shoots for a takedown but Geek Fighter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Tancev throws a jab but it's blocked by Geek Fighter.

Tancev clinches up with Geek Fighter and pushes him back against the cage.
Tancev has Geek Fighter pressed against the cage, preventing Geek Fighter from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Geek Fighter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tancev counters with a single leg into guard. Geek Fighter didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tancev drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Geek Fighter dives on top into guard.

Tancev is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tancev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Geek Fighter defends it easily.
Geek Fighter is looking to advance position but Tancev has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Tancev forces the positional change into back control.
Tancev is trying to stick to Geek Fighter's back but Geek Fighter is turning into Tancev. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Tancev's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Geek Fighter.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mark Geek Fighter will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Nemanja Tancev's cut.
That's time! Geek Fighter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Geek Fighter is looking to clinch but Tancev is avoiding it.
Tancev looks to land a combination but Geek Fighter avoids it well.
Geek Fighter misses with a body kick.
Tancev thows a body shot but no joy.
Tancev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Geek Fighter was covering up waiting for the punch and Tancev finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tancev drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Geek Fighter manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tancev has Geek Fighter in his guard.
Tancev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Geek Fighter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Geek Fighter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Tancev is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tancev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Geek Fighter is aware though and is defending well.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Mark Geek Fighter wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Tancev takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Geek Fighter fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Tancev counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tancev is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Geek Fighter defends it well.
