The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lucas moves away.
Kenny Finch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Finch tries to clinch but Lucas moves away
and Lucas counters with a nice leg kick.
Finch closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Finch lands in his opponent's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Finch has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lucas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lucas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Finch is looking to clinch.
Finch tries for a takedown but Lucas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Finch tries to bum rush Lucas with a series of wild strikes but Lucas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Finch doesn't manage to clinch there - Lucas circles away.

A decent looking cross lands there for Lucas.

Lucas explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Lucas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Lucas counters with a good low kick that Finch was not able to check.

Lucas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Finch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lucas somewhat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Finch shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Finch was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lucas wants to control but Finch is having none of it.
