Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Baldeh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rez Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortez has chosen Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baldeh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cortez is fending him off so far but Baldeh persists. Nope, Cortez circles away and we're back to standing.

Cortez wants to stand but Baldeh is controlling the position.

Baldeh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cortez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cortez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cortez!

Baldeh shoots in and drives through. Cortez sprawls well.
Baldeh closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cortez circles away.

Cortez tries to bum rush Baldeh with a series of wild strikes but Baldeh uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Cortez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Baldeh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cortez throws a right hand that Baldeh ducks under and follows up with a left that Baldeh also avoids with ease.

I think Baldeh has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
