1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Living Laser! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oooooh!!! Laser has knocked Bergh down with a huge combo! Laser steps away and waves a wobbly Bergh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Anders Bergh has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bergh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laser as he avoids it easily. Bergh circles away from the clinch attempt and Bergh counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bergh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Laser sees it coming and defends easily. Bergh wants to work for an arm triangle but Laser is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bergh is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Laser has managed to free his arm - good work. Bergh trying to control the action but Laser is working from the bottom. Laser has one foot on Bergh's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Laser throws a series of punches but Bergh avoids them all with ease.

Laser drops Bergh with a beautiful combination! Bergh stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Laser is looking for the KO! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! "Ole!" shouts Laser as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anders Bergh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Laser gets caught flat footed, as Bergh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Laser looks gassed! Bergh throwing strikes but missing.

Bergh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bergh drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Laser dives on top into guard. Bergh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Laser doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bergh is tightening it up a little... Laser has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Laser reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Laser taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bergh!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Anders Bergh! Anders Bergh took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'What can I say? I look at this as anger management therapy, only with a reward if I lose my cool at the right time. I train and save all the small things that would make me go crazy in the past inside. Gives me the feeling that I deserve to blow up and I love it.'.
