Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Neva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven Hjernson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hjernson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Poirot theme. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sven Hjernson!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neva shoots for a takedown but Hjernson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hjernson catches Neva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Neva on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hjernson throws a series of punches but Neva avoids them all with ease.
Neva slips under a jab from Hjernson.
Neva shoots in looking for a takedown. Hjernson tries to sprawl out of it but Neva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hjernson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Neva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hjernson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Neva looks for a takedown but Hjernson sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikko Neva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hjernson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hjernson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Neva is defended easily by Hjernson.
Neva looks for a takedown but Hjernson sprawls well.
Hjernson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Hjernson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hjernson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hjernson.

Neva is rocked!
Neva is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Hjernson moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sven Hjernson!
After winning the bout, Sven Hjernson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
