Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Roth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Riseman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roth comes to the cage accompanied by Shawn Michaels - Sexy Boy. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jonathan Riseman!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roth shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Riseman's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Roth seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Riseman for as long as he can get away with.

Roth goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Riseman has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Roth but great work by Riseman.

Riseman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Roth connects with a nice short shot to Riseman's temple.

Roth throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Riseman has his hands clasped together but Roth breaks the hold and Riseman is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Roth!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Daniel Roth!
Daniel Roth very nearly forgot to thank Hell's Balls Recovery (160) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
