Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martez Cortega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Avalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avalon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Harder Better Faster - Daft Punk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avalon lands a body shot.
Avalon takes a shot right to the bread basket.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cortega is defended easily by Avalon.
Avalon doesn't manage to clinch there - Cortega circles away.

Avalon cracks Cortega with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Cortega falls to his knees and Avalon doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
