Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Going Nutz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rajon Rondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rondo has chosen Cassidy - Rondo as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rondo misses with an uppercut.
Rondo lands a nice shot to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Rondo as he connects with a hook.
Nutz misses with a takedown attempt - Rondo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nutz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rondo with a jab.
Rondo lands a right hook to the body.
Nutz on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Nutz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Rondo lands a body shot.
Rondo lands an overhand right.
Rondo lands a head shot.

Rondo tests Nutz's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Rondo scores with the left hand. Nutz knows he should have avoided that one.
Nutz walks into a jab.
Nutz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A left lands for Rondo.
Rondo throws a shot to the body.
Rondo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rajon Rondo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rondo leaves Nutz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nutz shoots for a double leg takedown but Rondo sprawls well. He's pushed Nutz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Going Nutz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rondo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Nutz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rondo to score with a decent uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nutz needs to keep his hands up - Rondo had a free shot at his head there.
Rondo lands with a nice body punch.
Rondo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Nutz's head.
Rondo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rondo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Nutz is rocked!
Nutz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rondo.
Oh Nutz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nutz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rondo loads up on a big right hand but Nutz slips the punch.
Nutz blocks a jab.
Rondo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nutz.
Nutz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rondo.
Rondo misses with a hook. Nutz ducked under it nicely.
Nutz seems to have got his legs back now.
Rondo lunges at Nutz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nutz's hand.
Rondo is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nutz had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Nice jab there from Rondo.
Rondo takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Nutz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Good exchange - Rondo coming out on top.

Nutz scores with a takedown into Rondo's guard.
Rondo is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Nutz drops back looking for a leg! Rondo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rondo manages to kick Nutz off! Nutz jumps back into Rondo's guard.

Nutz drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Nutz as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Rondo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Nutz! Nice submission victory there!
