Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Fisticuffs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Motor Martino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Motor Martino is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Fisticuffs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Motor Martino!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martino shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fisticuffs as he jumps to the side.
Fisticuffs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Martino enables Fisticuffs to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Martino manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Fisticuffs won't allow Martino to sweep him here.
Martino looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Fisticuffs postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Martino is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Fisticuffs, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martino perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Martino takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fisticuffs is trying to maintain the position but Martino is very close to passing his half guard.

Motor Martino has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Fisticuffs shoots and misses
and Martino counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fisticuffs's guard now.

Fisticuffs is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Martino controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Fisticuffs working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Martino doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Martino manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fisticuffs is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Martino shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Martino has eaten all the pies!
Martino lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Fisticuffs hang on?
Fisticuffs is squirming around, avoiding Martino's attempts to control the action.

Martino postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fisticuffs looks a forlorn figure.

Martino is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Oh Fisticuffs is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fisticuffs is in a horrible position here. Martino smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Martino cracks Fisticuffs with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
