Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mohammad Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasper Wintertuch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malik comes to the ring accompanied by Stronger. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mohammad Malik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jasper Wintertuch! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wintertuch fails to land with a series of punches.
Wintertuch fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Malik shoots in for a takedown but Wintertuch shows good takedown defense. Malik misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Malik fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wintertuch on the side of the head. Malik slips a jab and a cross from Wintertuch.
A punch combination from Wintertuch misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Malik. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mohammad Malik. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wintertuch fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Malik fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wintertuch throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wintertuch moves away from the strike by Malik. Wintertuch lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Malik fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wintertuch sprawls well initially but Malik persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wintertuch looks gassed! Malik wants to pass the guard but Wintertuch is defending well. Malik wants to control but Wintertuch is keeping him busy. Malik is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wintertuch is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malik seems to be working for a kimura but Wintertuch defends the submission attempt. Malik performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Malik passes the guard and advances to mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malik working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Wintertuch is squirming around, avoiding Malik's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Malik looking for a guillotine from mount but Wintertuch is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Malik working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mohammad Malik dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Wintertuch throws a nice looking combination but Malik bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Some wild striking there from Wintertuch.

Malik fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Malik shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Malik fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wintertuch sprawls well initially but Malik persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wintertuch is breathing heavily. Malik is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Malik wants to control but Wintertuch is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malik works his way into side control. Malik is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wintertuch looks calm but he's in trouble here. Malik gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wintertuch is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Malik lets go of the hold and Wintertuch can pop his arm back in it's socket.
