Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Hosnia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rollins has chosen Future World Music - Dream Catchers as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Hosnia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Hunter Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins misses the jab.
Hosnia tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hosnia fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rollins.

Hosnia really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hosnia does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Rollins throws a nice looking combination but Hosnia bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Rollins sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rollins crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hosnia - the referee stops the clock and Rollins gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hosnia. Rollins manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Richard Hosnia.
Well Hosnia has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Richard Hosnia decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
