Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grimly Fiendish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mogul Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grimly Fiendish has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Grimly Fiendish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Mogul Khan!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan shoots for a takedown but Fiendish saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Khan shoots in for a takedown but Fiendish shows good takedown defense.
Fiendish tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Khan swivels and escapes.
Fiendish moves into the clinch successfully.
Fiendish has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Khan after a bit of a struggle.

Grimly Fiendish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mogul Khan.

Fiendish shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Khan as he jumps to the side.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Grimly Fiendish. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fiendish looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range.
Khan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fiendish sprawls well initially but Khan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Khan misses with a head shot. Fiendish uses the momentum to regain guard.
Fiendish uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Khan keeps the fight on the outside.
Fiendish throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Khan was covering up waiting for the punch and Fiendish finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Khan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fiendish manages to get himself to full guard.
Fiendish lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Khan!

Fiendish looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Khan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Khan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fiendish is aware though and is defending well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Grimly Fiendish will probably get the nod.

Fiendish takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
