The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Regan wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance.
Regan scores with a kick to the midsection.
Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Regan wants to clinch up but Brown keeps it at a distance.

Brown looks to land a body kick but Regan moved away.
Regan blocks a head kick by Brown.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Regan does a little dance to reset his feet.
A nice inside leg kick there by Regan. That's going to slow Brown down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Regan.
Brown digs a good hook to Regan's body.
Regan doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Regan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Brown paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Regan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brown has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Brown is breathing heavily.
Brown misses with a low kick.

Regan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Regan scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Regan looks low and kicks high, catching Brown right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A telegraphed right hand from Brown misses the target.
Regan moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off.
Regan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Brown's sensitive parts.
Both fighters circling a little - Regan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Regan connects with a leg kick. Brown looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Brown blocks a head kick by Regan.
Regan wants to clinch.

Regan slips under a jab from Brown.
Regan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Brown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Regan tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Regan throws a front kick that sends Brown stumbling back into the ropes.

Brown pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Regan throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Regan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Regan chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Regan throws out a head kick that Brown doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Brown crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Brown's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
Brown is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Brown keeps the fight on the outside.
The fight stays on the outside here - Regan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Regan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Regan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Regan is stalking his opponent - BOOM! Switch kick out of nowhere! Brown is not moving; he is out cold!! Wow, what a quick finish that was.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jimmy Regan!
After the fight, Jimmy Regan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
