Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Jourgensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jourgensen's entrance music is Sidewinder. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar throws a head kick but Jourgensen moves out of range.
Jourgensen shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Jourgensen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lesnar moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both fighters circling a little - Lesnar finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Lesnar thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Jourgensen if he has to take too many more of those.
Brock Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A looping hook to the body misses from Lesnar. Jourgensen does a little dance to reset his feet.

Jourgensen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lesnar circles away.
Jourgensen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lesnar's waist but Lesnar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jourgensen off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Jourgensen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lesnar tries to land a front kick but Jourgensen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Lesnar swings for the body but Jourgensen moves out of range.
Jourgensen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lesnar tries to avoid it but Jourgensen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lesnar to the ground. Lesnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lesnar scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Lesnar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Lesnar is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Jourgensen has latched onto it... Big trouble! Jourgensen pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Lesnar is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Jourgensen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Al Jourgensen!
