Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tom Tua!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onsaught takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Tua throws a sloppy head kick and Onsaught moves out of range easily.
Nice defenses there by Onsaught.
Tua misses with a head kick.
Tua lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tua throws a sloppy head kick and Onsaught moves out of range easily.
Onsaught throws a series of strikes that have Tua backpedaling.


It looks like Tom Tua has been cut.

Onsaught shoots in and bounces Tua off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Onsaught drops back looking for a leg! Tua is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tua manages to kick Onsaught off! Onsaught jumps back into Tua's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Onsaught landing some decent shots from guard.

Onsaught is looking to work some ground and pound but Tua has wrist control.
Onsaught is working Tua over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Onsaught is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Tua has momentary wrist control but Onsaught slips an elbow through the middle.
Onsaught is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Onsaught slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Onsaught is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Onsaught slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tua really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Onsaught. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tua is trying to get back to his feet.

Onsaught has hold of Tua's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tua tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Onsaught cranks the arm and Tua screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tua, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
