Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Nicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Lancaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lancaster's choice of entrance music: Bed Intruder. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mario Nicks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malcolm Lancaster! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.

Lancaster tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Nicks feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lancaster's calf. Nicks defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lancaster. Lancaster takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Nicks keeps the fight on the outside. Nicks circles away from the clinch attempt and Nicks counters with a nice uppercut. Lancaster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nicks tries to avoid it but Lancaster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nicks to the ground. Nicks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nicks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lancaster takes the fight into the clinch. Lancaster tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mario Nicks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Malcolm Lancaster.
Nicks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nicks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nicks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lancaster at a distance.
Lancaster swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Nicks counter with a right hand.

Jab from Nicks. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lancaster wants to clinch up but Nicks keeps it at a distance. Mario Nicks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nicks catches Lancaster with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Lancaster takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lancaster looks gassed! Nicks cracks Lancaster on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Lancaster falls backwards against the cage. Nicks follows up with more strikes that drop Lancaster to his knees. Nicks keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Lancaster! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mario Nicks!
