Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Paul! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeffrey Ramirez! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul takes a swing at Ramirez's ribcage but misses. Paul slips a jab and a cross from Ramirez.
Ramirez darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Paul takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Paul throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ramirez sees it coming and avoids it easily. Paul throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Paul scores with a hook to the body. Ramirez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Paul slips a jab from Ramirez. Ramirez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ramirez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Paul.
Paul misses with a looping left. Paul throws a body punch but Ramirez moves out of range. Paul connects with a body shot. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ramirez. Paul lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Paul. Paul takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Ramirez misses the jab. Ramirez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramirez misses with a straight right. Paul misses with a body shot.

Ramirez shoots in but Paul avoids the takedown attempt easily. Paul swings for the body but Ramirez moves out of range.
Ramirez takes a swing at Paul's ribcage but misses. Horrible takedown by Ramirez or perhaps it was just good defense by Paul which made him look bad. Justin Paul has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeffrey Ramirez. Paul misses with an uppercut. Ramirez saw that one coming. A combination from Ramirez does no damage. Jeffrey Ramirez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramirez misses with an uppercut
and Paul counters with a straight right hand. Paul is looking to wear down Ramirez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Ramirez throws a right hand that Paul ducks under and follows up with a left that Paul also avoids with ease. Ramirez looks gassed! A big left from Ramirez misses. Good standup being displayed there by Paul as he connects with a hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Ramirez misses with an uppercut
and Paul counters with a lovely straight right hand! Paul ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ramirez moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paul throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nice jab there from Paul. Paul takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A jab from Paul misses. Ramirez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Paul comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Ramirez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Paul looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Paul looks to score with a jab to the body but Ramirez is just out of range. Paul throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ramirez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Paul just misses with a punch to the body.
Paul lands a jab to Ramirez's midsection. Paul cracks a nice hook into Ramirez's ribs. Paul connects with a body shot that sends Ramirez's belly button to the back. Good exchange - Paul coming out on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paul throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Paul lands the left hand. Paul scores with a body shot.
Paul closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Ramirez! Paul dives in looking to finish! Ramirez is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
