Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lucho Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop shoots in and drives through. Rodriguez sprawls well.
No joy there for Rodriguez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bishop avoids the body shot from Rodriguez.
Bishop bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rodriguez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bishop shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Horrible takedown by Bishop or perhaps it was just good defense by Rodriguez which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Bishop. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rodriguez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bishop moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rodriguez throws a nice looking combination but Bishop bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bishop scores with a body shot.
Rodriguez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Bishop postures up and lands a big shot to Rodriguez's brow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bishop gets to his feet and stands over Rodriguez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rodriguez felt that one! Bishop unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rodriguez from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bryan Bishop!
A relieved looking Bryan Bishop thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
