Honeycutt's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Riot- 2 Chainz. Chris Honeycutt could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brian Sonnen's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Sonnen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Honeycutt fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sonnen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Honeycutt scores with a hook to the body. Sonnen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Honeycutt pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sonnen is out of range and Honeycutt settles back down.

Sonnen shoots in looking for a takedown but Honeycutt manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sonnen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Honeycutt is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sonnen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sonnen's back!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chris Honeycutt.
Well Honeycutt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
