Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Saru Saru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saru comes to the cage accompanied by The Black Dahlia Murder - Statutory Ape. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saru swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tyler keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Tyler ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Tyler throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tyler lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tyler is looking to clinch but Saru is avoiding it.

Saru has gone for a leg lock! Tyler slips out almost immediately though and dives into Saru's guard.
Tyler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Saru bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyler's guard.
Tyler will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Saru postures up in Tyler's guard and throws a big left but Tyler blocks it.

Saru keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tyler's head.

Saru stands up over Tyler, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tyler is still in real trouble! Can Saru finish him?
Saru connects with a couple of short punches.

Tyler is working an open guard so Saru takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Jake Tyler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Saru lands a huge takedown. Tyler is out but the ref is slow to react and Saru lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Tyler lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
