Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tis Kirosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirosh's entrance music is bent - kisses. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirosh slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kirosh connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Machida's hands.
Kirosh throws a nice looking combination but Machida bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Machida thumps Kirosh with a low kick.
Kirosh misses with a hook
and Machida counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kirosh misses with a double jab.
Kirosh throws a series of punches but Machida moves out of range.
Kirosh throws a left and a right that both miss
and Machida counters with a straight right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Machida scores with a head kick.
Machida uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kirosh has time to react.
Machida lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kirosh is breathing heavily.
Kirosh drops his hands momentarily and Machida takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Kirosh is rocked!
Kirosh drops his hands momentarily. Machida doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kirosh staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kirosh doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lyoto Machida!
