The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Rutten slips a straight right by Couture.
Rutten moves out of range of the strikes.
A jab from Rutten misses.
Couture thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rutten throws a hook to the side of Couture's head but Couture sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Couture connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rutten's hands.

It looks like Joe Rutten has been cut.
Rutten waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Couture.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rutten steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Couture.
Rutten throws a hook to the side of Couture's head but Couture sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Joe Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rutten drops Couture with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Couture! Rutten dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
