The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sved throws a front kick aimed at Rossi's knee but Rossi avoids it well.
A good leg kick by Sved.
Rossi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sved. Rossi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rossi looks for a takedown but Sved sprawls well.
Rossi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sved was well out of range. Poor timing from Rossi.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Rossi is taking a breather. Sved says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rossi is looking to take a break and control but Sved is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rossi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sved defends it well.

Hugo Rossi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
